In relation to Ettalong, over time it seems to have gotten tighter and tighter- Generally good but can get nasty with any sort of southerly and an out going tide. Ive seen guys surfing there when conditions are right. Noel.

Hi, is anyone heading out through Broken Bay tomorrow. I planned to head out to the fad, then broken bay wide before the crap weather hits over the weekend. Havent heard or seen any reports in the area for a little while so wondered if any coasties have any news. Are the dollies still around and more importantly is there any good water out there. Any report would be appreciated. Noel.

Yeah Roosterman, will keep 27mhz and will add VHF, as you say for emergency atm until I can do my lic.

Hi Guys, I am planning on heading out off Sydney this weekend, (sat) and wanted to ask a couple of questions. Although Im not new to the sport, Ive been out of the scene for about 12 months and am keep to get back out there and get into it. This is my plan:- Out through Sydney and head the the wave rider off Bondi, then shoot straight out the the 12 mile. From there follow the coast up to LongReef. I hear you guys talking about a few spots including the carpark, bait station and the Fads. Am I right in assuming there places are in the vacinity of the 12 mile, or at least in the direction Im heading. I would be keen for someone to point me in the right direction on this. Being Saturday Im also assuming most of you Guys will be out there at some point. I look forward to some feedback. I intend monitoring the radio channels and believe channel 86 on 27mhz is the channel. Noel.

Great catch mate, what sort of location where you, north of the entrance of broken bay or south off palmy area, Ive been madly trying to fish that area with no luck at the moment- Were you specifically burlying for sharks or did he come into your trail.
