  1. Welcome to Fishraider. As they say a bad days fishing is better than a good days working :-). It's a shame when the crew start throwing up however not everyone can handle the sea. Keep at it, youre bound for a good catch. Its been two weeks since I've been out and I'm already starting to go mad. Hopefully next week. Keep up the good work.

  2. Hi guys,

Just wondering did anybody come across a report this week where a 9.4kg snapper caught in Botany Bay? Anybody find out any further details as all we seem to get in the Bay are undersize snapper. Sounds a little suss to me.

  3. Good Work Craig,

Those kingies sure do put up a fight, My mate busted his bream stick last year on a king, it was his first also. Its the first king that gets you addicted.

Just imagine what a metery will do :-)

Keep it up buddy the big ones will come by for sure.

Cant wait to get the boat back on the water had the tilt relay stuff up on me last week.

It sure does help when the Mrs can back the trailer, im having trouble teaching the Mrs how to drive manual yet alone back a trailer.

    Well done.

  4. G'Day Raiders,

Ill be heading up to Port Stephens across the long weekend, with the boat in tow for the first time.

We will be puting in three days of fishing, 1 day landbased and the other two days on the boat.

Would anybody be kind enough to give me some tips, locations where we can possibly come across some mulloway, recent reports show there are a couple lurking up there however being the first time we fish these waterways itll be pretty difficult.

Any other tips on other species which maybe good to target at this time of the year will also be greatly appreciated!

    Thankyou in advance :-)

    Regards

  7. Thanks Brett. so based on the sticker Port operation Channels and commercial fishing channels cannot be used between recreational boats unless being part of the other categories? That may explain the reason why it wasn't working.

    Thanks Brett.

    Much appreciated!

  8. Dear Raiders,

I was just wondering in relation to VHF radios is it possible to transmit and receive across all channels?

I was out on the weekend and tried connecting with another colleagues boats across a number of channels however I could not transmit or receive other than through 21,22 I could hear everything on channel 16.

Just wondering are there specific channels which cannot be transmitted across or vice versa?

    Your assistance will be appreciated!

    Regards
