  1. I missed the "nice bag" comment from an earlier reply, I thought you were talking about Buggi Pops.
  2. I hope this isn't another "Berkley hoax" because I came across three today and panic bought them .
  3. It's called Camec (previously Caravan Accessories) and they have just opened up another store at Ingleburn. www.camec.com.au
  4. Are you looking at the same pic as me Bluecod Whitto, Bearers and Joists in our park, no slabs!!!! (not concrete ones anyway ).
  5. That's a cracker.....aaaarrrrkkkkkk . Nearly as good as the Dart . How are you you at building floors for new aluminium annexes? (hint hint) .

I'm glad I was substituted by the sound of it
  8. I heard it was $17 to get in and don't forget that again to park your car .
  9. I'm off to Mt Selwyn to take the kids to the snow for the first time and my first time since my 7 year old was born . I also happen to be staying at Anglers Reach on the shores of Lake Eucambene so a few rods will be going along with the ski gear to see if I can get my first trout .

    Blown Up Battery

When I bought my new boat I asked the question on a few forums whether or not I should use a battery box as I had a battery tray built into the bow. I did end up using a box but there were few guys telling me not to worry about it. Hooky's experience has just highlighted the advantage of keeping your battery in an acid proof battery box.

    Where Is....

I'm with Bluecod and I will add that you are accross the river from the Lugarno Marina where the punt used to cross.
  12. You've got it in one Andrew, I went in there for weeks asking him to get BMs in and all of a sudden "Joe Bloggs" (that out of Towner from down the freeway, there's a hint ) asks for them and there in.
  13. Well done Mick but why the change of allegiance? On the B.A.S.S site the results have you down as a Queenslander

    Transducer Switch

Hi Bill, I have considered using another base but it means taking the head off one and putting it on the other everytime I stop and the risk of dropping it over the bow and then there is the cost of the base, power lead and another transducer which for not much more I could buy a cheaper complete sounder like a Garmin FF120 for $249.00. Thanks,

    Transducer Switch

I am toying with the idea of putting a sounder on my bow but was wondering if anyone has tried using a tranducer switch using the one sounder head and switching between two transducers. I have a Humminbird Matrix 27 and there is a switch available for this purpose for $110.00.
  19. A boating hazard alright, go into Woolaware Bay at low tide and have a look at the poles still in there and try to remember where thay are at high tide .

    Crab Id

Pulled up onto the beach at Dolls Point today and my son found this crab, I've never seen one like it before. It had marine growth on its shell and a hard shell type growth protruding out the front with very small claws underneath.
  21. How ya going Rob, Next time you hear cicadas in the trees get down there with a surface lure but you may have left it a little late for the Bass. As mentioned there are some big Carp in there, I've been down there on my surf ski and Carp have swum underneath me scaring the sh*t out of me .
  22. Didn't take it as an argument and your points were valid, it was the first time Kev had used lip grippers (they are mine and I hadn't even used them ) and holding Flatties that big is a rare occurrance, we are more the wiser now .
  23. And again Kev was stressing as much as the fish with the lip grippers, telling everyone to hurry up and stop taking pictures, she wasn't held up like that for very long at all.
  24. No, it was a catch and release comp with designated marshall boats around the lake for use as witnesses on meritorious fish. Kev was very concious of getting it back in the water after it was witnessed and photos taken.
