  1. I had a large one surfuce about five metres from the tinnie when I was anchored up in a quiet corner os south west Arm in port Hacking about ten years ago, scared the c**p out of me! It is surprising where they'll turn up.

  2. Hi Stewy, great post mate!

What a fantastic day it was! I had'nt been to Lake Lyell before and I was'nt disapointed with what we found. It provided both Chris and I with our first ever Trout (in the end we caught 5 or 6 each) and whole lot of great fishing memories and although it was cool the weather was'nt too bad, I only had the rain gear on once :1badmood: .

It was great to catch up with Dan (the bacon sandwich and coffee KING) again, its always fun to have a fish with you mate and it was nice to meet Pete (Roffo), arn't all raiders top poeple It was long day but a top one!!!

I'm looking forward to getting up there again before tooo long, hopefully with the same top bunch of Raiders.

    Cheers,

    Chris...

    Yummo, Trout for dinner tonight.

  3. Mate look for Blackbutt avenue, its a dead end so park wherever you can find parking. Then follow the trail and around 5-10 mins into the trail you will find another half hidden trail which will take you down to the waters edge.

You will have to bring your own sand.

    Thanks Dan, much appreciated.

    Chris...

  4. Hi Raiders,

I would like to go luderick fishing this weekend at the spot known as Blackbutt point on the Georges at Lugarno. Can anyone tell me where the best spot to park is and maybe give me some rough directions from the road to the water?

Oh, and can I get sand there or will I need to carry it in with me?

    Cheers,

    Chris
