    gidday Mike89 we have been fishing Woolwich the last few Mondays first Monday we got three in five hours two weeks ago five in fivehours yesterday my mate got a50cm blackfish I dropped two at the net we were using cabbage big fish but sometimes have to wait over an hour between downs yesterday I got two downs in five hours for zero my mate got three downs

    gidday mate 3-4kg not enough double that we fished off that wharf with 30 kg nylon handlines caught some big jacks and queenies got busted off heaps

    I have used weed flies with some success I think you will find the hook will be exposed at times when drifting under the float when I use cabbage or long weed the hook is exposed a bit I have not had any problems catching luderick my mate uses a two hook rig one weed fly one natural weed amazing how many times they hit the fly

    just drop a prawn or a squid or even jiggle a soft plastic straight down and then hold on tight two weeks ago before I left a local caught a one metre barra with a prawn the jacks will try to take you back under the wharf good luck mate its paradise up there and the beers cold at the courthouse pub across the road

    gidday bookwa just got back from port douglas last week fished public wharf near sugar wharf caught a few barra and jacks sugar wharf is good but a bit high from the water at low tide went out to the reef on a charter caught trout and nannygai plenty of charters to the reef and the inlet

    good feed mate me and a mate have been fishing Chiswick for over thirty years one of the better blackfish spots around the area got some nice ones last week on cabbage weird drift sometimes

    nice feed mate went to a spot on parra river last Friday caught five lost a few went yesterday same spot one down lost it drift was going in opposite direction that's fishing

    gidday fishos I am a luderick fisherman I have used weed flies in the past with some success the problem is I find the flies I buy are a bit too short so I am going to have a go at tying my own is there some dubbing ( I think that's what its called ) that would hang about two inches from the hook thanks for any help
