going to Port Douglas in april fo two weeks will be fishing landbased anyone been there and fished the sugar wharf or the wharf behind the little chapel any spots would be appreciated.

has anyone fished blackwattle bay near glebe saw some big bream when I tossed some bread out in water at the end of glebe pt road was thinking of flicking some plasics

I used to fish for blackfish near Budgewoi bridge in the channel near the shop, also north end of the entrance bridge on the lake side ,can drive right to the water. woy woy near the salt water baths,good luck mate

I catch more blackfish in the summer in the harbour,they are not as fat in summer as in the winter. I think its due to more weed growing for food more in winter then summer

gidday fishos I need some advice, going to cairns for a couple of weeks.i want to buy a two piece rod as light a possible for pulling trout and nannygai out of the reef, any suggestions on braid and leader , I want two piece for easy travelling any advice would be appreciated thanks

I used to fish for bream on the central coast at the power stations when I lived there in the 70s, all we used was mullet strips and gut, never had trouble getting a feed, always get fresh mullet

gidday morwong,run up tide at chiswick near ferry wharf or birkenhead head wharf,ferry st at hunters hill all easy access,good luck

been going there a couple of times in last couple of months,caught nothing on lures.switched to squidgy bugs.got some just legal lizards bloody small toads kept biting tails off bugs.got nice bream on pudding

i live in drummoyne area southerly wind i fish chiswick,westerly fish birkenhead there are plenty of spots around balmain you can fish for blackies in any wind
