  1. hi Everyone, I live in Parramatta and was wondering if anyone knew if there are bass in the lake. I have heard yes and no just wondering does anyone know or caught bass there. I want to start some baws fishing and since I have no car this is my only option really.
  2. Hey fishnatic I was fishing infront of the walk way from the park (first right after you go over the bridge). I found the morning better with the tide high and lots of white water. I could not find any live worms up there no shops had them so hope you have better luck then me at that. I was just using pilchards but they were not touching whole pilchards only half ones which I did find interesting. Hope this helps
  3. Hi everyone, Went up to the entrance for the weekend got up Friday night leaving first thing Sunday mornning.brought a few mates with me who do not fish but keep asking me to take them. So we get up at 4:30am for the first fish, got down and by the time we rig up and look for a spot(which was right in front of the walk way) it was 5:00am. I had three rods set up 2 outfits with 30lb line out for salmon and talior and a 8lb out fit out for bream. I cast out the light outfit first and before we could get the nest one out it is going off and taking line. My mate picks up the rod and dose not really know how to fght a fish that obvisoully was heavier then the breaking strain of the line by along way. She was going really good and we got it close to the beach and see a huge salmon. The inexperience came into play and when the wave came in and went out my mate kept onreeling it in and the pressure got to much and snap it goes. She was a little disappointed but it all was learning curve for her. I told her that is what happens you put out the nice light gear and the nig fish always take it. I thqught it was going to be a really good morning but it went quiet for awhile till my mate finally got her fish a 36cm bream and she was over the moon. I felt Good because I made it my mission to make sure that they all got a fish. It went all quiet again until my mate got another thumper bream and it went 38cm. By now it was 8:00am and things were getting very quiet until my other mayes rod goes off. I talk him through the fight and he got his salmon in and it was a real thumper and if this is what was out there know wonder we lost the salmon on the light gear because the salmon high 5kg on the scales. Soon after this the light rod goes again and it was another salmon and again lost it at the beach but o well that is fishing. I really did not get a chance to fish but was happy to see my mates get some nice fish. We go back in the afternoon and there is weed everywhere which made life hell and it did all night. I got the same three rods out. There were only two of us this time. Didn't wait long and the light rod went screaming and I got to it and after a good fight on the light gear I got the salmon in. This one went 4.5kg on the scale. After thus we could not get a bait in the water with out catching a heap of weed. The one time I got a bait out with any weed I get a shovel nose shark on the light rood again. We gave it about 4 hours but the weed got to much and we left. So over all 2x salmon and bream to take home. Hope you enjoyed reading Shark'od
  4. Hi everyone, I'm heading up to the entrance over the weekend taking some mates with me who want to go and catch some fish. I'm going to be hitting the beach chasing salmon, tailor, whiting and jewfish. Just wondering if any knows how it has been fishing up there and if I should maybe change from the beach because I promised them some fish. Any info will be much appreciated.

  8. My first report so here we go, went down to Woy Woy on Saturday the throw a few Plastics around. Started up near the T wharf near the station there. Started about 7am and something hit my plastic on about the third cast which bit me off straight away not sure what it was. Darted walking up the shore line and throwing plastics around the boats that are around there got a few hits bug mosses them all. Got up to the boat ramp and then went around the corner and finally got my first and only fish of the day, it wasn't big but still happy. It was now 10:30 and the wind started to pick up so I called it quits and went home. I'm on my IPhone does anyone know I can up load pictures from my phone?
  9. Hey mate, theres a few spots up there that are good, im nbot sure what the tides are doing but if you get a tide change early mornning as the sun is just coming up there always flathead on offer between the forster wharf (the one behind main street) all the way around to the brige and in the marina it self.i was up there last weekend and in an hour i got 5 flathead on plastic in that area with a squidgey black and gold colour size 4. if your are looking for weed there are two places where i get mine, one is the pool that is on main beach there is normally some in there and sometimes if you are lucky there is some on the break wall but that stuff usally goes really fast. also a few jackets around the forster wharf using prawn just about 10min off the floating patton only touble is goinmg through all the small fish and there are bream where ever you can find structure, the best way i find thta is not on lure is fishing with very little weight or none at all and letting it drift down in the current works best in the pylons around the bridge and jettys around there, i got two last week usinf hot chip :s so they really do hit anything at the moment. hope this helps
  10. Hi All, Im new to these forums and just wondering if anyone can tell me some reef spots and kingfish techniques for out side fishing. Im in the process of buying a new boat and should be mine on Saturday, it is a 525 savage centre console with a 115 mercury on the back so i can go out a bit with it. I want to do fishing off the Hawkesbury and Harbour but do not have a clue where to start so just need some guide to some reefs off the Harbour and Hawkesbury and some kingfish spots and techniques because the kingfish are what i really want to start getting into and i figured this boat is the way to start.
