  2. Gday fellow fishing friends A quick question if I can. I was going for my first Trout fishing session on Wednesday driving from the Sutherland Shire to the Cox River, I've got most things sorted in the way of gear and location but am completely clueless as to whether this rain will adversely effect the fish. So just wondering if anyone has any info in regards to this. Thanks. Ill let you all know how I go.
  3. Gday nbdshroom I usually use No 4 or No 6 Resin Heads matched with Squidgy Wrigglers or Squidgy Bugs, they smash the bream and EP's up against snags like pontoons and rock walls, pretty much just trying to imitate a prawn. Pretty awesome stuff watching a big bream hit it near the surface, usually hit the edge of weedbeds with the same set up and it works wonders.
  4. Howdy All Having read plenty of reports I figure I should get my first ever post up. Have been fishing the Woronora a lot of late up towards the needles, super early morning starts. Targeting the sandflats on the falling tide and pulling plenty on Flatties to 60cm on plastics. Rockwalls and weedbeds on hardbodies and plastics on rising tides for Bream up to 40cm and EP's. And plently of 35cm Blackfish on unweighted live bloodworms. Cheers
  5. reLapse I to was down there all yesterday, saw you having a flick. Me and a mate pumpes nippers and pulled 6 x 45cm whitting plus a heap of undersized whitting, 5 x 35cm flatties, 1 x 44cm Trevalley and a some undersized bream. I find fishing the area as the tides drops is always best. Great spot for Whitting althought there are a fair few small whitting roaming the area.
  6. Hi there Started using SP's about a year or so ago wont go out for a fish without them these days, Nuclear Chicken's i find are absolute crackers on Flatties in the areas i frequent around the Wonni and Hacking, pulled a 85cm flattie a few days ago on a 3inch Nuclear Chicken down the Wonni. Sand flats on an outgoing tide seem to work for me. Small one from a few weeks ago.
  7. Matt Fished this area for over 14 years now and have had EP's down to Bonnet Bay very often, althought personally i'd concentrate on the area up towards the Needdles, had some absolute crackers up there, as for Bass, head for the area above the Weir, not huge Bass but Bass all the same, amazing country and pools. Sitting in my kayak up there on a summers arvo throwing palstics and also fly for EP's is a pretty sweet deal, fantastic scenery and fish, only negative is young blokes in tinnies hooning around during the day.
  8. loving Soft Platics at the moment...
