  1. I don't hit the bream very often at all as they are very rare in my part of the state and I haven't had the time to drive the 200km to reliable spots very often (compared to 10min drive for trout streams). It'd be different if I lived in Hobart. I've caught a few down here but nothing to brag about. I will try to give it more of a go before I leave though.

    Cheers

  6. I think its great that the numbers attending dawn services keep on growing and growing it is very important to teach our young ones too the importance of anzac day and what it means to be Australian.

  7. Hey raiders,

Just been back from a restock of my tackle and saw a few overhead reels lying around wich prompted me to ask the question... what uses do these reels have over the egg beater? ive never even thought of it until now.. what advantages in different situations do they have eg sp fishing or trolling?

    Cheers,

    Brad

  8. I am assuming that we are talking about a commodore here??

If so i used to be a mechanic for Holden and i can tell you that the saginaw pumps are shite  , and need to have there seals replaced a often!!. it is usually just the pump not the hoses.

But $280 seems like a fair price it takes about an hour+ fluid and a seal kit

    BM

haha silly me i should hav said what car its a toyota celica but yea judging by response i should be right with my mechanic thanks fellas :1prop:

  9. Hey raiders,

Ive recently discovered to my dissapointment that my car has a power steering fluid leak. I got a mechanic to come out and have a look at it and he said it was my power steering pump that was shot and my hoses needed replacing. He quoted $280 and i was hoping that if any raiders were mechanics or anyone who has had the same problem could give me a heads up if that is an unfair price and how much i should be looking at it would be much appreciated.

    Cheers,

    Brad

  10. Hey raiders,

    cheers,

    Brad
