Thank you, yep a bit of work, but the owner did a fair bit before i got to it.but having the space helped a lot. And what helps is my neighbour and i love doing it..keeps us out of the Missus hair..lol

Had a look through the FAQ,s here http://www.garmin.com/support/faqs/search.jsp but couldnt see much other than mabye updating the software for it. On my brotherin laws Magellan if it got screwed up you were able to reset it by a number of key presses, If you got the manual have a look through it,or you can download it from Garmin If you have a external antennae i would be checking that first. There is a lot of work involved in spraying the old Tinny, but you can do it yourself if you put the hard yards in. As per usual its all about prep work. Me and my mate have done three starting with my old dehav offshore, then two quinnys. He has also done a few before me including his current Seafarer Ventura(glass boat). Is it worth it doing it yourself?.. Well we got a lot of satisfaction out of it and we did save quite a few bucks. Im mainly the gofor..lol sanding get the beer or coffee and accessories dude, my mate does the spray painting. But we enjoy the challenge of it!

Well i am having a go at buiding a web site! Its about a restoration of my mates quinny fishabout that me and my next door neighbour did about 3 mths ago..And yes the first link on there is Fishraider.com.au ..lol. bear with me it might take a couple of weeks to get sorted. Hi Kingie, well you could always try the Nepean for bass, or hour and twenty to Lake Lyell near Lithgow for trout. Although not sure how much water is there at the moment, but have some good catches there in boat and on land (use Berkley powerbait rainbow or orange for bait..damm let it slip again)Oh and have a beer at the Donnybrook Hotel if you go to Lake Lyell...its the first pub then you turn left off the highway to Lyell Cheers Twoducks
