  2. Thanks aeb870 they are a berkely big eye blade. we caught more on the gold ones but silver worked aswell,i love these lures very easy to use.
  3. i spent sunday and monday down the south coast.Sunday was spent on tuross lake flicking blades which resulted in LOTS of small flathead and bream which was fun for a little while then we just wanted something bigger but didnt happen. sunday night was spent on a beach at tuross, couldn't get to the beach that we wanted to because coilia lake had opened to the sea so we went to a beach just up the road,it looked promising but after long cold night all we got was a undersized bream and a port jackson shark. then on monday went to moruya river and after a few slow hours we started to get a few small flatties.we got about 5 flatties that were around the 33-35 cm mark which was fustrating, then all of a sudden we started to get some big ones. there were a couple around the 40cm,then at last me and a mate each got one around the 50cm and the other bloke got a monster measuring 65cm! a awesome day on the water and the little blade lures will catch anything i managed to catch a few different species-flatties,bream,talior,whiting and trevally,so between the three of us we managed a good feed of fresh fish for dinner. cant wait to get down there again.

  5. poppers are always great fun good to see that you were rewarded for your dedication.
  6. i feel your pain, anywhere you go fishing on the south coast you see old bait packets. as someone else said you always get a plastic bag when you buy bait how hard is it. some people are just so lazy.
  7. i was there a couple of weeks ago,we fished both north durras and the clyde river,we got a few legal flatties and lots of undersize flatties,we used blades, vibes and soft plastics.water was pretty dirty might haved cleared by now. a couple of locals we spoke to at north durras said they got a heap of bream and whiting on live nippers
  8. i was over in fiji in oct. last year.i had a great time fishing. i stayed on the coral coast which is on the mainland,we took light spin rods and a few surface lures. we got a few blue fin trevalley off the beach,we asked the resort if we were allowed and they didnt care, pretty relaxed fishing rules over there.it might be different on the islands but i recommend taking a rod with you,you would kick yourself if you were allowed to fish but couldnt. eitherway i hope you have fun over there,i wish i was heading back.maybe one day
