Its deadset amazing what you will find out on the net!!!!! Our voted parliamentarians for years have keep crap (NO PUN INTENDED) outa site an outa mind of the average Australian, YOU AND ME . I did a 12mth study on Homebush Bay for 40% of my whole grade. What I found out amazed an horrified me! This was back in 1999 an even then the local, state an federal govt's all knew about what was being released into Sydney Harbour from Homebush. Heavy metals, an other nasties where on average 5X the acceptable release limit. But nothing was done, it was reported in over 3 different government run environmental agencies investigations that Homebush was a ticking bomb!!! :bump0ee Yet our goverment did nothing The only thing the government did was cap the old landfill sites with over 1M of concrete,,,, Better late than never I ate fish out of Parra', LCR, an west of the gladesville bridge as a kid, an Im only 28 an this has been a problem for more than 30yrs,.... I would deadset, S@#$% myself to see my dioxin levels. Mind you havent eaten any fish west of the HB for over 10yrs. But i dont think I will be rushing off to get tested! Sorry for carrying on. Dan

Hmmmmmmmmmm the world is full of PR@#^S! These stories are all too familiar,,, Between myself an Greg both of us have had our cars F@#$%@ with by lowlifes. Greg has had it twice in the last 3 mths (SOME DOG SMASHED HIS BACK WINDOW OUT WHILST PARKED IN THE DRIVEWAY ON THIS FRIDAY JUST GONE) and he also had his car vandalised just before Xmas last year at Tunks. An I had my car sideswipped by a bloody bus october last year . All of this incidents were not covered by insurance,,,, even in my case where i had the details of the bus! Not happy jan!!!!! We had to cover all of these expenses ourselfs insurance didnt want any part of it. I say if your got a problem with a person approach them about it,,,, dont stab em in the back!!! This is a 2nd hand report I received from Greg via piece of paper an SMS!lol More (2) legal kingys in the fridge when I got in from work, a cold 6 pack for me . An a note I gotta pickup some vegies or chips to go with my fish . At least Greg could have picked these up toooooo on his way home from fishing. Ive been working alll day Anyhow enough baffle an dribble ,,,, He tried CG this morning for 2hrs (6-8am) for a zero! Gave up on CG an went cruising for some kingys,, rrrrrrrrrrrrrr,,,,,,,,,,, low an behold spotted them on the surface an came home with 2 legals, 70cm approx each,,, an throw back another 3-5 rats or juussst legals. Even though they were on the surface he got all of em on our famous or infamous bought squid! Even though they were on the surface these kingys were feeding on the tinnny baitfish ie 15MM or smaller,,,, the same things the sambos at the heads were eating before Xmas last year. All kingys were caught on small squid strips,,, bigger baits out didnt get a touch,,, Greg is now in bed getting up in another 6hrs to get some squid for tmr's session Dan

Hmmmmmmmm I was taught that squid rely on their sight for feeding an secondly smell, hence I would asssume that squid need crystal clear waters to hunt their prey ie, prawns an other crusteans or baitfish. I dunno if Birkenhead would produce squid, but what the hell Id still give it a shot!!! You maybe suprised Dan an Greg

Hey all After a GREAT day yesterday myself an greg greg decided to hit clifton again! Greg squided for 3 hrs for a big elll zicho ,,, Despite the lack of squid we thought bugger it might as well go to CG even without squid an troll or cast plastics. Get their an greg cracks out his secret weapon some freshly bought squid from @#^ shop! Thought yeah right . We gotot smashed on this bought squid, thank gawd! . Only prob was we ran out lol!!! End result for 3-4hrs fishing for kingys was 6 or 7 rats, 1 keeper, 1 bustoff, an several which we pulled the hooks on! Another awesome day on the harb! Wheres that 3M tiger thats hanging on clifton?
