You can buy hawkesbury prawns from berowra or kurun gai at the boat ramps. Locals always tell me to buy the hawkesbury prawns.

Mine is exactly like that. But has no movement. I think i will leave it like that for now as i wouldnt be surprised if it came like that from the factory. If i notice the gap moving then i will tighten the bolts and seal it.

I never heard of them. Just did a quick google search and found an interesting read. I would stay away from them. There is a thread out there on another forum. If you cant find it, i will PM you.

Hi, I am going to install some led lights under the gunwales. Last time I used a strong glue for these, worked great, but what if my leds burnt out? So I am wondering what would be a good glue to use that I can remove easily if needed? Would marine silicone work?

Was there a month ago and struggled to find live bait. We got no kings so we are planning to go from december onwards. Wasnt much exciting action actually.

I have done all the above actually. The only thing I can think of is the whippy aerial is damaged too or I just don't know how to use the radio. I will check it out with Huey!

Mate I just bought a boat and have to replace so many parts. Check the trailer, winch, brakes. Check the fish finder, motor tilt and trim on both controls and outboard. Take boat for a run. Check the radios see if they work! All my faults above

Havent heard a thing come out of it yet. I purchased a new aerial mount coz that was broken. Radio is wired properly. Maybe the aerial is broken. This guy didnt look after his boat well at all.

I did do that at one stage but didnt hear anything. I will leave it on and see if i pick up anything. I guess i shouldnt be expecting to hear a talkback radio show but still expected to hear something. Should i leave it on 1W or 25W?

That just reduces static doesnt it? I bought the boat with thisnradio so have no idea.

Does anyone have the garmin vhf 100i radio? I have it set on channel 16 but just get static. Am i meant to be hearing anything? Any settings i need to have?

Hi, Have a new boat that came with a humminbird 917c combo. I get no reading on the fish sounder. No graphics appear, depth is out of whack. I am thinking it is the transducer as the gps works fine. Full screen works too when gps is on. What do you guys think?

Hi guys, I recently bought a new boat and realised it has 2 antennas on the dash. It has a humminbird combo fish/gps unit. There is a humminbird gps antenna and a lowrance. At first i thought maybe he had a lowrance unit before but he didnt. Both antennas are connected but cant work out what the lowrance is used for. Will post a pic later. I saw the same boat as mine and setup on the internet and has both antennas too. Not sure why.
