  2. Depends who you ask. Personally I wouldn't eat them they are full of blood good bait though
  3. I agree I thought it would be way too cold for Mack tuna now down here oh well you learn something new everyday
  4. The cross bit goes in the gimble which you put around your waist and the clip holes on the reel are for the harness to clip into

  9. I would recommend wollongong harbor in between the trawlers I fish bellambi jetty a lot (especially in summer for frigates ) and have really never seen yakkas there where I've seen them caught in Wollongong

  11. Hi raiders does anybody know any good spots around teralba or Toronto. Me and a mate are up here for work and have been fishing in the channel under five islands road but only been getting undersized bream. Any help would be greatly appreciated

  14. The northern breakwall (the one near the coal terminal) is a lot better to fish than the southern wall. Cast out into the ocean side with pillies and you should get salmon,tailor and bonito Hill 60 is also good producing the above mentioned species plus kingies but can be dangerous so be careful

  17. I went to winding on Friday off the breakwall chasing tailor &salmon as I heard they were on got there at 7 & left at 10 and got nothing but you're spot on about the current once that tide turns it starts raging
  18. This is correct when the whole bait is taken as soon as the line goes tight the fish will hook itself in the corner of the mouth but if u have little pickers biting they will just pick the bait off without being hooked

  20. Not to sure about the double pinching but the with the circle hook it usually hooks the fish without u striking and normally every time it will hook in the corner of the fishes mouth a lot better for releasing the fish
