    Which Boat

Hi guys, Snag has the PT Elite and its a great set up. It will handle the Harbour chop no probs, my only concern was when stable and flicking at Pelagics in a bit of swell/chop its a bit different to your deeper style sides. Plenty of room 120lt Livewell plus rear Livewell, massive storage, and great ride as Mick has stated. It will do the job on the Harbour no probs, and by memory up to 62KPH with a 75 Optimax. Hopefully Sang will get on the Forums this week, as he has computer problems. Ivan
  9. Hi Joe, great session and great fun too!! I recall years ago, having the same story around the Spit. We used to get massive tailor, real big ones that would smash ya on the bream gear and holding on was a challenge. I can't stand this, no boat at present and pelagics in Winter, don't do this Joe. Only a while to go until the Pro Strike arrives Heh Heh!!!! Ivan

All in the name of fun, however someone failed to announce it. Bloody Liverpool supporters. Lucky its only a Social. Snag, help me out here!!!!!!!! SPOOLED

  18. What a fun day, I had the day off work, the first one in nine days so I was itching to get out. With other duties to be done in the morning I spoke to the wife and conviced her of a afternoon cruise with the kids, and some seafood from the markets. I snuck one bream stick on board with few packs of Bass minnows, He He!!! Well all was well and we headed to Fish markets around 4pm and got a late lunch. With the kids and wife off the boat I had around half an hour breamin. Well on a rising tide I nailed two fat Breamskys. One at 32cm the other a nice 34 TTF. Iwas stoked the good old Glebe bridge was fishing well!!!! With th family back on board and amazed by the bait tank working we were off for a cruise around Rose bay. I stumbed around Rose bay to find schools of Bonnies playing around as the sun went down. A quick look under the console found some stronger leader and loose 1/8th jig heads. A quick adjustment and the Bream stick was screaming hard as it was Bonnie bonaza for the next half hour. I landed 3 and dropped heaps, but they were all around 47-54cms. nothing big but great fun on the Bream stick. All in all a great afternoon, taking the wife and kids for an afternoon cruise turned out better than a planned fishing trip. For me to not to take my Camera is an indication on how adhoc the trip was planned. I will always bless that spare spool of leader and jigheads you leave around the boat. The Buzz of bonnies zipping past the boat on 4lb gear is great. SPOOLED

  23. All, what a busy period its been, after being in Melbourne and then taking the wife and kids to Queensland its been a big no in the fishing scene. So I returned from hols on Saturday and decided to venture out on Sunday for some Kings. ( Yes I know Sundays a bitch,). We found a good squid spot and moved on. Gee the water was flat so we decided to have a looksee outside. There must of been over 50 boats outside. With the odd Sargent Baker and Pike we headed back to markers. To end a long story, finally after all my squid got done, I got a nice baby rat of 63cms on my last squid. I got terrorized by other Kings on plastics, but no takers. I'm still waiting for the run of bigger ones to move into the Harbour. We got back to Five Dock ramp and for the first time ever I saw to Fisheries Officers checking all boats. After a good convo and displaying the legal king, we were off. So theres my licence money going to work. Its good to be back SPOOLED
