Do you have power trim??? If not, trade your motor on one that does. Stainless props perform better for a couple of reasons. Alloy props flatten out at high revs due to water pressure. Stainless props have a more open hub, allowing exhaust gases to escape easier. A bit like putting extractors on ya 180B.

My preference for lures, and the successful ones there are Black Feral Cats, hard to find in Qld, Blitz Bagas (Timber ones now discontinued)(there''s one in the photo behind Fitzy) Brolgas and Voodoos. Other ones that work are Strike Zones and Patriots. The Blitzy''s get down to about 30'' with 4lb Fireline. One of the 55''s was taken on a Miller Bream Buster Finesse and Stradic 1000FH, I''ve never lost all the line off that reel before. My brother used a Purple/Black Bass Vampire to get the 54 on fly.
