  7. Yes, it won't ever be the same without hearing him on the commentary box. To me, I miss the good times watching cricket back during that aussie era, hearing his commentary and banter along with Benaud, Lawry and Taylor on a lazy summer arvo
  8. I was there a week back also at night. Guess what I caught? A shovelnose too haha
  9. Yea that is a thumper of a whiting! You look so pleased in that shot with them all lined up
  10. Nice haul. Seeing this makes me want to try soft lures.
  11. Congratulations on that whopper! Never mind going to the gym, sounds like you got a decent whole body and abs workout.
  12. Well done! Forgive my ignorance but what does a marble flathead symbolise?
  13. That's what we use to say at primary school *eyes dart around*
  14. Sorry to hear about the jews, but a nice catch with those couple of flathead!
  15. I would guess that unless they were migratory/pelagic, they would just move around the locale which they are released. It makes me wonder when say an ant or a bee ends up on my car and I drive to another place. The ant probably never makes it back and has no way of making it back. I'm not so sure about the bee.
  16. Wow. Mighty effort and mighty fish!
  17. Hi All, I joined this site in the hope of learning more about fishing to enrich my experience (and catches). I'd describe my fishing ability as novice although years of watching fishing shows (and actual fishing) has definitely helped. I enjoy dangling a line for the sake of dangling a line. Hope to see all of you in the forum. Nbdshroom
