I'm with you Newport. Lots of people throw them back. I used to throw them back as well but once I tried it I always bring some home for the table. Beautiful white flesh. -

Hi All, Has anyone had any success using fresh mussel from fish shop to target whiting? 1kg per pack. They said the mussels are still alive. Im wondering whether the mussels are cleaned using fresh water or saltwater.

wow...that was a big run man. could not really concentrate at work. that zzzzzzzzzzzzz thing is very addictive.

No headshake mate. After first run, stop 5-10 second but I can feel the line is still moving a bit. When I put some pressure, it took off again. No stopping this time. I need my braid back so put pressure and ping...bye bye.

Yea mate. Would love to see the colour but I guess I have zero chance since Im only using 4pound leader and it took more than 100m of line.

could be. i hooked to stingray on soft plastic before but not that kind of run. maybe this is the bigger model.

yea mate. could be anything. But i'm happy to hook up to any fish that can make blistering run. the sound is amazing
