One of my mates uses a large barrel sinker.Normally not available from every tackle shop.With a short but heavy boat rod, its as close as you are gonna get to a downrigger

I agree Fresh is best!!!!!!!,and it is much cheaper if you are fishing over hard bottom to use bait I believe

My brother lived in tassie for a couple of years and has some awesome photos of ripper trout he caught in a little stream near his house.If only hey fellas,looks like us sydney folk get the nothing compared to locations up and down the coast

I agree but he doesn't seem to think so.I think he has made three DVD's now.A tuna one,jew and now kings.Oh and he has a show on some pay Tv channel.not bad for someone with less than ten years in the industry??

I agree with the guys but there is a prety good map available from plenty of spots that has heaps of spots you could give a bash
