    More Kings

So that was you in the boat Red?! Sorry I didnt say gday mate, didnt realise it was you!
  3. The 07 Stellas are scheduled to be released in September here in Oz
  4. Will you be posting up some vids on youtube this time Greg?
  5. One of my hard core (and i mean HARD CORE) rock fisho mates do catch kings at night Greg. One night the kings were so hungry and aggressive (I think this all happened around 3-4am one morning) and were completely unstoppable, that everybody ran out of bait and when they switched to white/pink 6 and 9inch sluggos, they ran out of those as well....amazing stuff.

    Ps3

Me! But I'll be holding off awhile until theres a way I can "back up" my games
  7. Yeah nice meeting you Roy All that weed, it just looked so fishy didnt it? We were pretty dissapointed that we didnt score more fish off it And abt the bridge pylons, we only fished the one closer to the opposite bank from the ramp. I was chucking a spinnerbait on the deeper portion of the bridge for nothing but my mate got a couple of midgets with a shallow running hardbody. We probably wont be fishing this weekend, auntie's flying in from overseas this weekend
  8. That was me (gday Roy) I was in my mate's boat (Wakd) I'm not a regular to the Nepean but I've never seen so many herring in my life! Its chockers at the moment, and the amt of weed in the river....wow. We were expecting there to be more decent bass around but it ended up being a way quiet day. For anyone thats planning on fishing there, my mini 30cm bass was caught down deep off a shoreline (with a spinnerbait), and the bridge pylons are holding a heap of tiny bass a couple feet off the surface..... Matt

    Driving Goggles

If u wanted full face protection maybe this is the one for you Greg These look cooler than the Fish Hedz(IMO) ones and comes with a built in fan to battle fogging Pic courtesy of ebay seller "pbwizard3" There are other masks that have less to no tint Matt
  11. If only there were more patrols by fisheries officers at the Kyeemagh ramp, theyd be booking a heap of boaters and jet skiers going more than 4knots....

    Gulp Sp's

The 5inch Gulp Jerkshads are fine James, I've caught quite a few jews with them in 4 different colours.
  13. Hopefully they'll move the jetty out and away from the closest lane(its a bit too close atm), and get rid of the weirdass current that runs under the jetty!
  14. Oops sorry, your budget is 15K, not 20K. There were a few Hornets and Explorers for sale on various chat boards during the last few months of last year, and the asking price was less than 15K so just keep an eye out in the for sale sections Dan. Havent seen as many Polys for sale but it should still come under ur budget.
  15. There isnt anything in particular abt either reel that makes one significantly better than the other, Varos. I've had the Biomaster 2500 for ages, a Stradic 2500 for abt 2 months, and both reels are value for money performers. My Biomaster has accounted for a heap of jews and kings under heavy drag and the only thing I've replaced on the reel is the drag washer, which is now Carbontex instead of the standard material. Basicly, if u can get a Biomaster cheaply, go for it.
  16. Were you looking at buying new or second hand? A tournament ready 2nd hand Hornet or 4.1m Poly would probably be well within your 20K budget ... ur biggest decision will probably just be to go tiller or side console
  17. Sometime last year a mate of mine fished off the rocks one night, and kings were going off on squid, pillies and sluggos. He actually ran out of bait and lures so catching kings with lures at night is not impossible
  18. Looks like everythings back to normal now, was there 5ish this morning and no blockade to be seen....
  19. Looks like everything was back to normal today Yay! Will be attempting another recce trow morning then
  20. Just thought I'd shoot a warning to those planning on using the ATB ramp in the next few days. The road leading up to the ramp is now blocked off till 9am due to fallen tress etc from bush fires. Not sure how long this temporary blockage/delayed opening will last. Hopefully this saves a few fishos from meeting the same fate as us Friday morning(we were there around 5am) Matt
  21. Thats just the way it is with the Saegake unfortunately. It used to really bother me when i first got it but that goes away fairly quickly. Just remember to put tape on the blank so the top of the foregrip doesnt dig into the blank.
  22. Heck I thought u were fishing on the Nepean Wicked pic of the mini me bass school too
  23. Some friends and I have fished Wisemens Ferry b4, when I first started fishing actually I havent caught any jews there but my friends have, only smallish sub 3kg ones. This spot is opposite a caravan park , just down from the ferry crossing. We've caught a heap of good to great sized bream on the dropping to bottom of the tide though, on bloodworm and nippers. This was a couple of years back so I dont know if its still good fishing there. Matt
  24. Unfortunately inconsiderate/careless/ignorant ppl will always be around The more I fish, the more frustrated I get with these guys that do the silliest things with scant regard for others. I cant even remember the last time I've been out and NOT seen someone do something that warrants some abuse! Matt
