Well unlikely due tot the fact that i can pay about 100 for a fishing charter that will take me out to sea for 8 hours

Maybe it's just me but I was find my reels always rust. I don't know what's with the designers logic since fishing you are exposed to salt water often and salt water accelerates the rusting. If possible it would be great if the reel can be made from stainless steel or other non rusting material

Strange maybe it was the first time i picked up a reel but i am right handed and hold the rod with my left hand and the reel with my right. I'm use to it though so its unlikely going to change

Hey guys I went fishing in sydney harbour today an caught 2 bream one at 32cm the other at 27 cm all caught on prawns I lost something big while flicking a surface lure managed to snap 20lb line After I left my spot I joined thefisherman6784 at Walsh bay where he let me try for some squid however I failed miserably and didn't catch any any who still a good day Also a bunch of birds decided to peck the breams while i was gone for 15 minutes and ate the eye of the bigger bream and a little off the smaller one

Hey guys first report anyway we headed to sydney harbour landbased yesterday at a new spot for a fish we caught in the 4 hours we were there we caught 5 leatherjackets 2 legal snapper 3 legal bream 1 legal trevally 1 luderick and a red morwong We also caught alot of baby fish which was subsequently released We used a variety of bait including squid and prawns cant find all the pictures but attached what i have We caught more snapper then i can count also got a double hook up on snappers haha

yep i tend to get alot of slimies just on the troll i usually just cut them up for bait

hey ive gone bottom bashing often around Sydney the past 2 weeks we have the most success using a paternoster rig with 3 2/0 circle hooks with a heavy snapper sinker at the bottom I place a cut pilchard in the bottom one as flatties tend to take the bottom one first and pilchards appear to be their preferred bait. I place half a prawn on the second one which usually takes in morwongs, snappers, flatties, nanngais and more this i found is the one with the most hits. The first hook i place a small strip of squid this is usually taken by leatherjackets,morwong and snappers but i sometime find an odd pearly I tend to troll along the way to where we plan to bottom bash usually getting a king, bonito,slimy or striped tuna but i got a bluefin once and that came in as a surprise. I like to test out new spots and discover my own spots based off the fishfinder. Recently however i have found dee why wide has been getting plenty of hits 10+ fish a trip

Hey guys I'm searching for a new boat right now just wandering how big does it have to be for it to go offshore? I primarily want to use the boat for offshore trolling and bottom bashing. I do understand a tad about swell and winds not an expert. Thanks guys

Hi raiders i ve been out on the hawkesbury fishing fir the past 3 days and i havent caught anything (shore). I ve tried almost everything different sized hooks bait, i recently bought a pack of zman plastics grubz and ttlures and still no luck. I ve tried many techniques as well. Just a question am doing something wrong or is it something else. Any tips are welcome thanks
