  1. Hey all.

I'm in the process of setting my patrol up for some serious tracks in the bush and my next task is to sort out led lights on the roof cage. I was having a chat with some friends and they are lead to believe Les light bars are now or soon to be illegal?! I can't find any info regarding this so I wonder if any of you have heard about this at all??

    Cheeeeeers

  2. I went out on the new boat yesterday for an hour on the Georges and got a little tap on a plastic and scored some seaweed and an angry phone call from the missus because I forgot about a family function... Whoopssss

Hence why I was on the water for under an hour haha

  3. If I didn't just change careers there would be no way I'd be selling the seafarer !

On topic the old two stokes aren't as bad as a lot of people think! Out of the hole and on the plane they are hard to beat be so long as your not ringing it's neck everywhere and are at a comfy cruise speed fuel and oil isn't a big issue..

Do have to love a cold winter morning start! They don't call them 2 smokers for nothing

  4. when i get behind my sounder ill see what i have saved!.. i know that the last few times ive sat off burill for a nice relaxing flatty drift i have decent size mako circle the boat up close.. and you think he will take anything !! nope! either take a line or bugger off!

  5. mate I don't have marks as such but burril and tabourie is the go for flattys having said that most Ulladulla and surrounds hold great flatty grounds. depth varies go in 25m one day and get a great feed and the next day nothing and find them at 75m . green island and most headlands you will find some snapper. I always run into makos out from Ulladulla ! the pop up out of no where

  6. I walked out on my job so this might be the weekend I have to go buy a car cause I have to hand the company car back:(

But if it's Sunday I'll hope to get a car sat and be on the water Sunday, I don't think I can hook the boat on the push bike..

  7. G'day all

I'm having a slight issue with my sounder

On Sunday morning I was heading out to the peak in the wind and I was cruising at a good speed but I hit a lumpy wave half way out and my sounder instantly played up. Shallow alarm set to 1.0 m was going off and screen was showing nothing but sand and saying 0.7 depth. GPS was fine though This has happened before but I turned it on and off and it was fine but I couldn't resolve the issue this time. I checked the plugs were in securely and that transducer was positioned correct and clear and turned on and off a few times and it was still playing up. And the whole trip in it was buggered.

    Any ideas?

Should I have turned the batteries off and on to sorta reset it? I have them off now as it's stored so I hope on the weekend I start her up and she's fine.

    Cheers jake
