Hi Raiders, I have just purchased a Simrad nss9 with a Navionics platinum card, I cant get the chart to display any contour lines? do I have to download any info off net or is there some setting in the chart settings? I cant seem to work it out. Any help would be appreciated Cheers

Hi All, I am planning to get a Simrad NSS8 sports or NSS9 evo 2, options for the transducer 600watt 50/200 P66 1 kw chirp I only fish max 150 metres but I want something to pickup bottom really well, and also wondering the differences in the evo and sports models. Has anyone any info on this unit? Cheers Daryn

I only use it to upload spots on computer rather than doing it on GPS, not sure what else it does but im pretty sure it has allot more features

Sounds good Brett, I have down loaded Garmin Base camp and is easy to use, I load up marks on the computer

Looks good Brett, I just got a Garmin echo 70s but didn't do enough homework as it doesn't have down view. But the screen and definition look very good should test it next week. Also doesn't take chirp transducer.

Hi Huey, Thanks for that, I was considering the Suzuki 140 but the dealer said there wouldn't be much difference as the Yamaha was the better choice.

Hi There, I have bought a Formosa tomahawk centre cab 580 still in production. It has a 115 Yamaha 4 stroke F115A I have people telling me it will only do 25 knots and other people telling me it should reach 33knots with medium load. Can any one tell me from experience what sort of speeds it will reach? Cheers Daryn

Does anyone no what sort of speed the 580 tomahawk should reach with standard prop on the 115 Yamaha 4 stroke ?? I have been told from my friends that it sounds under powered, has anyone got this set up or something similar? daryn

Hi All this is my first thread on this forum I have just been doing lots of research on the new tomahawk boats, look great boats and very well priced. I have talk to a couple of boat owners who have had all good things to say about them, so I have purchased one last week. has anyone else out there got this model and are you happy with it?
