I've been getting down to Wally's most nights for squid mainly. Come back empty handed but doesn't matter - still a great little spot to chill out after work. Nice work with the catch mate.

Been trying hard to catch my first squid the past week, around port hacking - still nothing! Must just be the fisherman :-P Excellent catch mate!!!!

Great catch there mate! Gone past that wharf a few times now and still see people on it now and then... makes me cringe as a health and safety advisor :-P

I've caught a couple of blues using an old stocking, a sinker and rope. Put your bait in the toes of the stocking with a heavy sinker tied to the rope and anchors awaaaaay. The crab gets caught in the stocking and pull up very gently.
