Not sure if this would apply to sounder screens but when it was in I.T (computer repairs) and laptops came in with dead/faulty screens 8 out of 10 times it was a failed back light and to diagnose this you shine a torch into the screen while the unit is powered on and flick through the buttons while monitoring the torch lit screen for changes. G'day Raiders My name is Mark - long time lurker of this great forum, thought it was time to jump out from behind the keyboard and show myself, haven't fished much in the last 30 years but prior to that I was a fishaholic getting out 8 days a week when possible but then life got in the way and 30 odd years later I've come full circle and back as keen as ever, have recently moved from south West Sydney to Nowra and have bought my first boat and made a start on the fishing gear collection again and have been fishing the Shoalhaven River while I get my sea legs and build my boating knowledge/ confidence and always looking for a fishing buddy so I may put up a post in the desperate and boatless section.
