Ok, I've heard back from a mate.
He's calling it a "Bluelined Shrimpgoby" Cryptocentrus bulbiceps and that's good enough for me.
Now here's the twist. It maybe the same critter as a "Y-Bar Shrimpgoby" Cryptocentrus fasciatus
Though neither seem to be found this far south till both @twoblues and @Scratchie caught them.

@Holls the experts got back to me and it’s a Port Jackson Glassfish or as Neolm just said, Glassies would be the more common name.

It's a Mantis Shrimp there BG.
Now there's lots of different Types, around 125 in Australia so as to that one, got Nuffin mate.
I found them up the NSW coast living in the zone where I've been Beach Worming so they turn up everywhere.

I recon its a Sevenbar Groper/ Banded Rock Cod/ Bar Cod all the same "Epinephelus ergastularius"
The Black Rock cod has only a Spot/Saddle on the Tail Wrist where the above has the band all the way.

My guess would be a Striped Cardinalfish (Ostorhinchus fasciatus)

Goes by a few common names but its Black Rabbitfish and those spines are poisonous so be very careful when handling them.

I recon you have a Eastern Frogfish.
Their Whiskery little Tassels they have aren't as prominent when out of the water.

Hard to say because of the state of decomposition, but my guess would also be Estuary Cobbler.
I believe they loose their colour after they've been dead awhile.

First one is a Redspot Emperor
Second is what Yowie said. Pikey Bream
Third Javelin Fish
Forth .. not to sure as there is a couple of Croaker/Jewfish species up that way.

Looks like a Juvenile Banded Rockcod Epinephelus ergastularius.
Also know as a Seven bar Grouper.

I personally have never heard them called Brown Spotted Rock Cod.
Certainly Wirrah or Old Boots or the "proper name" if there is such a thing, Eastern Wirrah Cod as there is a Western Wirrah cod.
And as every one said pretty common. Ive never eaten on but my understanding no the best on the plate.

Certainly looks like a Juvenile Black Drummer, juveniles tend to show different colour variations than Adults.
