Hi all.. I am heading down to the Crookhaven for the next week or so and would like to know what channel I need to use whilst checking in with the Coastguard as I head offshore to the Banks...(27 mhz) Cheers..

100% sand flies..no doubt Best treatment is to run the hottest shower u can stand and get your limbs (affected areas) under it..This will stop the itch dead.....As I said..it needs to be as hot as u can possibly take for a second or 2....as many times as u can stand..obviously dont burn yourself.....! And an antihistamine will stop the itch....I hate the buggers!

Interested in seeing people's views on whether or not to Burley in an estuary situation whilst fishing for Jews. The thing is, do you burley and attract the pests to your hard earned bait and it turn the predators, or do you NOT burley and give your large squid and fishy fillets/slabs, the chance they deserve to be munched on by the mythical silver beasts. Any thoughts? Bardi
