  1. If the tank is leaking under pressure while sitting (heat build up) then that's a separate issue but if it was me for the sake of $50 I'd be throwing it in the bin and getting a new one, if it leaks on the boat and your a smoker the last thing you want is fuel sitting on the floor or vapours floating around. With the fuel line again it's not expensive ($12 a metre) for a reasonable rubber line. Just replace it don't bother worrying about testing it. Cheap insurance of u ask me....
  2. HAhahahahahahahaha gotta love the strong accents us can't understand!!
  3. Sounds like dirty fuel, my advice even thou it's running fine now, empty the tank flush it out so there's no particals in there, change all fuel filters, next time you run the engine run a jet/injector cleaner thru it (mixed in 5litres should be fine and run till near empty) then change filters again and you would be good to go. If you have a built in tank you should install a water seperator. It'll be the best investment you'll make engine wise.
  4. The best view of Sydney is the lookout above Penrith and the one at Windsor at night. Besides that has to be the start line at Sydney dragway standing between 2 top fuelers LOL
  5. Thought so. Sounds like a good deal. Few other things to sort before I can do that again thou.
  6. Went down to kurnell on Sunday for a fish off the point just around from the boat ramp. There wasn't a whole lost of boat trailers around there until late in the arvo. We did ok caught a few brim.
  7. Maybe a basic trailer if the wheel system doesn't work. With an electric winch mounted inside the shed.
  8. Is that section public land or yours? If it's yours some lengths of galvanised metal runners would suffice with few rollers setup on it and a winch. Other option is a small frame for the boat to sit in and use similar to a trailer
  9. How steep is the incline? Is it smooth concrete like a boat ramp?
  10. figured i better introduce myself. Names Ian. (known as bloodycars as i do work in the motorsport industry when im not driving my truck and some likem and some hatem lol) been fishing since i was about 5 or 6 (38 now) majority of my fishing has been fresh water in rivers and lakes in tassie where i grew up. Have delved into the salt water on charters and stuff and the odd fish off the wharves down there but beach fishing wasnt something i got into. Since coming to sydney and getting another business up am running ive been slowly getting back into fishing, now just trying to find places that are easy for me to get to for the time being until a buy another boat. (last one i had was a 15 foot pride i setup for fresh water) this time going bigger something over 5m that i can take anywhere. I enjoy the fresh water fishing but now i want bigger fish lol
  11. Mate I'd love to go off shore and hit up some tuna on light gear. I've been on a charter few times and hooked up a bluefin. Was on 80lb line was good fun but a 40lb fish on 80lb line isn't a fight u can lose if ya smart. Now a 18lb Atlantic salmon on 3 lb line on a. Grub now that was fun lol. As for flatties. They might taste good but from experience there as much fun to catch as herpes at Christmas.
  12. Atm land based unless I hire a boat. (Spent way to much money on my toy and forgot about fishing lol) but am looking for a reasonable prices boat in next 6 months. Targetting? Mate I'm used to fresh water where u have trout or Atlantic salmon lol so if it bites I'll catch it lol. I just love the fight so most of my rods are light line (2-6lb) I've got a surf rod that's got 40lb braid on it but I wouldn't know where to even go to start on that. Lastly what the he'll are yackas?
  13. So seafood shop instead of bait store
