MIck the new 35ST (step Hull) is at the top so far. The 350's would be nuts but the extra weight will have the boat riding as s down which is not good for skimming wave to wave. The 300's weigh 260kg and the 350's are 370kg. The extra HP will only add min top end speed which I think will rarely be seen... After seeing one in the flesh the other day, it pretty much made up my mind on what boat to get. Very impressive to say the least!

Just had a drool on Contenders website. 900hp pushing 11500 lbs will fly. A 10' beam will be super comfy. It'll be one painful waiting for it to be delivered.

  2. Oh yeah going to pull my sexy shad out and hopefully pull some jews with it over the weekend =)

Bro just fish SLOW, smallest jig motions and fish heavy to make sure plastic hits the bottom on each lift drop. 5/8th even 1oz.... Strike at every little bump, jew bites are little ticks in the line or similar to a bream or flattie bite!!

      PRED-ATOR

thanks dude ill give it a go haha

  3. Thanks to the girls having the hens party at Wobby on the weekend. You girls sure made our day and made up for the lack of jews but no one really cared about the fishing once the b o o b i e s came out!

5wt or 6wt is good. I would err towards a 6, in either a Loomis or Sage- not because of "brands"- but because they have awesome warranties. We need to go fishing soon!

    4. GregL

      GregL

I currenty have a 7 and 9 Sage XI2's, I was leaning toward a 5 for the spead between gear. I'll check em out.

  6. Jews are out on the Parra, went looking for our own horses on Tuesday, 6 to the boat largest went 90cm

      Hi greg

Would it worth having a throw from the shore say fishing under the span of the gladesville bridge casting out wide.

    3. Luringbream

      Luringbream

got 3 myself last week upriver, definately plenty about. No great size but don't they just go hard on light tackle!

    4. GregL

      GregL

I'd say gladesville hospital/banjo's would be a better option with lures. baits would just get snagged because of the reefy bottom and current. havent tried myself but if I was going to....

  7. Jews on the chew, 6 this morning outa the Parra

    4. GregL

      GregL

Spooled got a Emeraldas AGS rod and a Emeraldas colossal reel out of Japan. Kingfisher I would buy from here if Australia got the good stuff but as we don't I have to purchase else where. We don't even get the top end lines.... We dont get the Egi suspending PE which keeps you in contact with the jig better....

      Converted 2

Ian miller rods are awesome rods. I have 2 short strokers and will never let them go. Owned and used many game rods and the other rods have seemed to soften after years of use. Not these rods at the extent of the other rods.
