Thats sh#thouse gav, especially the one pot per person and only 5 pp, i cant believe some people are taking more than that. The thing about your post that pissed me off is that you told fisheries and they still did nothing, whats the go with that, thats a joke. I would be tempted to cut the pots loose, and keep doing it until they stop.

The sgt bakers are not the best lookn fish, the gunard is a really nice looking fish though. Clutch i have only ever caught hammer heads like that, only ever fowled hooked them, ony ever on either of their hammers. Good fun on bream sticks though, nice eating if you gut them straight away as well. Top eating actually.

I havent much of an idea on shark fishing, but wasnt that trace a stainless stell trace or something like that? I would imagine that to be pretty bloody strong.

Good stuff clutch and Jd, nice snapper there as well, the gurnard, looks like a sgt baker with wings.

mads i reckon the guests on the site are ppl from other sites trying to get ideas on how to run a better fishing site. By far the best fishing forum on the net. Im addicted cant get enough of it. From footy to beer to fishing and the odd piccy of a nice lookin woman haha top stuff.

Well put Mads, blue cod the sharks obviously arent interested in the surfers as they havent been attacked, the sharks are there coz of the salmon, what about box head, people surf there in the right conditions, and people also fish there for makos, hammerheads etc.

Sorry leelee, but thats bullst, i dont reckon there dumb asses, i reckon they know one hundred percent what they are doing, i personally surf, and i have seen sharks when out on reefs. There is no way they would be up in arms if one was taken, they know what there doing. Hooch did you read the full article, yeah there fishing for fun, but they are helping a sh$t load towards understanging the great white by taging everyfish caught.

Rob and Haraka, did you read the whole article? The said allot of the reason for them doing this was to help fisheries learn more about the GWS, the sharks are taking half a salmon not surfers, when was the last attack your heard of up newy way? They tag the sharks, the sharks move on in the warmer months as well. The sharks were there before these fellas started fishing for them, hardly rednecks wouldnt you say???

I havent even touched a fly let alone a fly rod and would LOVE to give it a go. Blue cod, what the ratio of people without a fly rod to those with a spare, cos i cant wait to have a flick at one.
