Yeah your right about being out there, saw this massive barge being towed, dont know what it was, a fair few ships out there as well. Saw a pod of Dolphins and a mass of birds but not working the surface.. The trip back was unforgetable, fanging it through the chop was wicked The funny thing was we saw about 5 boats out there 4 of which were trailor boats as well.

What did you get the fin on Blue ? We didnt have the gear for a bottom bash out there but its definately something that we are going to do soonish.

Started off a little late, beer and footy too good a mix, headed out from roseville ramp and got a call from Reckless saying he was at the heads and it was looking good outside... things soon changed and it was pretty rough, went to 12 mile and saw reckless (how'd you go simon). The old man changed his mind and decides to head out to browns, get out there and it was ok conditions, the current was fangin to the south, so we trolled then cubed then trolled again, got two hits and only landed a 2foot stripy, the other hit, as usual, was a bigger one but thats how it goes, pull the christmas tree in and it was missing a bit, the stripy was landed on a big RAPALA 20 something (Thanks DJ). The trip back was great fun got to ride the swell back and averaged 20knots from browns back to roseville. Simon do you know what that tug was towing??

Cheers fellas, last time we were out there we only came across the smaller ones, about 4-5 kilo, still great to land 6 of them, but the big mumma is the ones we want. Doesnt look like were going to browns unfortanately. Maybe fish the Hawksbury.

We use cable ties or an anchor bouy, that does the job and after 5 year of boating in the deep have never lost anchor. P.S, if your that paranoid just drift
