Sunline Cast away is buy far the best I have used

i have been told that the spiderline is not good but like I said I was told weather the people that told have used it or not I am not sure, I have used sunline always been a fan of it cant fault it 100% best line I have used but I was at a shop the other week and a guy that worked there suggested J line highly recommend it so I bought some still have not put it on my reel tho.

thanks rick I know there are way too many star that have to be lined up correctly for everything to be perfect!!! mate I normally will use one lure for like 20mins nothing on that ill change it until I find one that works. sorry for asking so many questions I am very green in fresh water fishing as I have fished saltwater my whole life and still learning with that.

Good evening all Going for a spin after work down to yarramundi in a kayak should I be using a popper, diver or spinner bait? Or more see what ever is working? In terms or poppers i have a few sure catch natural colours, a soft body cicada in green colour, divers are the saku short fat bodie, little nippers and in the spinner baits purple and black colour in a 1/4oz and green and black in a 1/8oz. Any comments will help. Thanks have a great night

Thanks all went out this morning fg knot on the heavier gear and I doubled up my braid tied off with an Albright knot no breakages on the lighter gear thanks for all your help!!

yeah mate that is how I was first yak fish was on that day but heading out for kings this weekend out of the yak. we ill be fishing Yarramundi more often I hope as it is close and a great spot

Before I go out i always re tie my knots i normally if i have not fished in a while ill take a rod length or two. My leader is 1-1.5 meter long i don' like my knot going past the eyes i did t want to take the chance to damage the knot

Mr. Z, yes I have thought that I have been making the initial knot tight before I pull them together but no I have left it lose at times heaps of spit as well this has got me Fed. I am using 10lbs cast away braid and 10lbs fluro as trace

I am using a double uni knot

only about 1 year

I use both in terms with the knot I don't have any problems with the knot failing only when I tighten my knot for some reason the braid snaps about 2" above the knot
