mate I go up there all the time as we have a place up at Ettalong yet I don't like going up there in holiday times too many people/R tards we took our dogs to the off leash area and our dogs were sniffing around his dog as all dogs do he than started to throw sand on one of our dogs face and picked the other dog by the tail and next and tossed him about 4 metres and these dogs are labs. but he maintained that he was in the right. anyway going off the track I much rather going up every other weekend during the year rather than holiday time

mate I have taken rod length off cast away 12lbs super pe 25lbs love the line tho

for some reason whenever I try a knot weather its a sliding knot or the Albright knot for some reason my braid always snaps when I am finishing off the knot it snaps about 2 inches above the knot I have tried different methods as in pulling tight quickly, slowly, a lot of lubricate, not as much. so who knows lol I am using Cast Away Braid and Super PE

mate down at JB we used to catch them with a 2L bottle of soda. cut an oval window in the side of the bottle fill it with sand and some rocks to keep it down put some bread in there once the mullet are in there just get it out of the water happy days live bait
