  5. Sweet thanks all we wont be in a yak/boat just off the land so do I just look for the areas with broken trees and snags in the water or just find a nice shady spot and flick out from there and hope for the best?
  6. Hey all, I have posted a topic on the general fishing section already. moving to Bligh Park shortly we will be about 10 mins to Windsor boat ramp. I have fished saltwater my whole life so fresh water fishing I have no idea about lol so any pointers would be great. I have a 702 catana rod with a 3000 symetre reel with 12 pound cast away braid I would assume that the line is too heavy for bass and other fresh water fish. I would much rather use lures than bait, but taking the misses with me I would have to use bait from time to time. can anyone please let us know what is a good all round bait and type of lures to use. thanks
  7. sweet as man that ill give them a go once we have moved in and settled down. would the fish be okk to eat from this part of the waterway?

  15. Hi all, I hope this dose not turn political but the misses received her license renewal last night in the mail the fees are as follows 1 year $35.00 and 3 year $85.00. Am I the only person out there thinking it is a waste of money and just a way to sting us for a bit more coin for the government. Were I fish on the central coast all the ramps/wharfs are still the same nothing has been touched no new equipment everything Is the same.
