  1. I was out there this morning as well for zilch, had a feeling it would be slow so didn't take it too seriously. Beautiful day to be on the water though. Looking forward to the water warming up and the fishing to fire up. Baz.
  2. Sounds like a tough weekends fishing, guess it cant be great every year. Couldn't make it up this time round due to other commitments, but hope to be back there next year. Cheers, Baz.
  3. Take care at Little Bay. I used to fish there and only ever with a friend (never alone), it doesnt take much to lose your footing on those rock ledges, and barnacles make for a painful rock slide. I had limited success around the area, the odd drummer was fun though. Stimo, you never know. Look at the success of top gear, and they dont hold back.
  4. It can get pretty bad at Rose Bay. A few trips ago I parked the car and trailer in the right parking space only to have some muppet park their Hyundai Getz infront of me!? After waiting around for half an hour the guy parked in the bay next to me moved his car and trailer which allowed me to unhitch the trailer drive around the idiot that parked me in and then re hitch the trailer. It took every ounce of my morals not to deflate their tyres/key their car etc etc
  5. Thanks Grant and Huey for the responses. I'll give the boat a run on the water in the next couple of weeks and see how she goes before i call in for a service. It hasnt caused me any issues and runs fine, but I wouldn't mind a few naggy issues resolved, sticky throttle, guzzling oil and a slight listing issue. Cheers, Baz.
  6. Hi guys, I have a 2005 model 50hp e-tec which may need a service. It had a service about 10months ago and ive clocked about 50hours since. hasnt had a good run for the last couple of months though. Can anyone recommend a mobile mechanic or a service place for e-tecs? I know e-tecs can be tricky and the plastic covers on the lower shaft have a tendancy of cracking if not handled correctly so I am hesitant to get it serviced without a recommendation. Any help would be appreciated. Cheers, Baz.

  10. Finally after about 6weeks of not finding the time to take the boat out, I've got a day off on Monday and heading out. I'll be heading to Sydney Harbour, picking up someone from Balmoral around 0730. Having not fished the harbour since Summer (and even then not all that successfully), just wondering if anyone can offer any suggesstions? I will have to be bait fishing as my decky isnt really a fisho. Any help would be great. Cheers, Baz.
