Hi raiders Need to put a swivel seat on the Busta 420. Can anyone recomend a particular type or brand. Something that will screw straight down onto the bench . Dont really like the ones that has the steel frame that clamps onto the bench. Thanks Mateys

Hi raiders Just finished watching Reel Action on the box.. I was a kingie bonanza at swansea channel on the incoming tide. So im gunna have to travel down with the new boat and get a piece of this action. Can any one recomend a nice camping spot nearby as well as any info on catching these beasts. Also where to go if their not firing .

No no no . Coffs is crap . No fish and dangerous beaches. Awful boat ramps and unfriendly locals. Best to go somewhere else.?

Get a new one . All under warranty, and most new motors are brilliant these days. I would pay a couple of hundred more and get electric start for sure. I have just ordered a quintrex busta 4.2 with a yam 40 fourstroke. Rampages are from the same factory ( telwater) and are a great boat but the millenium hull on the Busta is awesome .this will be my 3 rd boat from this factory. Never had any probs. Plate sided boats havr to be thicker than a pressed side due to the design . Eg. Look at anglapro topsides at 3 mm vs Busta at 1.6. Anglapro is 70 kg heavier yet not necessarily stronger. Motor has to push more weight then .

Try the co-op wharf on sunrise or after dark . There are some serious bream and trevors in there. Dont use sinkers. As theyre cunning bastards.

Hi Raiders. Has anyone out there been fishing up Macksville way. I live in Coffs Harbour and have fished down the Nambucca end of that river but never been up river. Any secret spots you want to give away would be helpful. Cheers ?

Thanks for your input luke. Went ahead and ordered the BMT today. Going for the 40 hp as it was only 430 bucks mor than the 30. As far as weight distribution and trim goes ill just have to sort it out when it (Busta 420) arrives. Cant wait !

Does anyone have any experience with replacing the plywood floor of a tinny with a lighter and waterproof material. Ive just been to the brissy boat show and saw a tinny with some kind of synthetic floor about the same thickness as ply but lighter. Of course there was no one around to answer any questions at the show. Not impressed!

Yep. Think ill go with the 40. Would like to move the fuel up forward. Does anyone have have any ideas about doing this.?

Yeah im slightly concerned about the weight but im not a fat bastard and will usually be by my self or 1 other person at a time. Ill also look at moving the fuel tank forward somehow possibly under the floor. Im happy with my quintrex/ yamaha dealer so will stick with the yam. The transom is rated to 120 kg so the motor will be within the requirements. Really im after reliability and the tiller arm with all the fruit on it as well as the latest technology. Bustas are a great boat. My first was a busta then i traded it on a new quintrex renegade 460 with 70 fourstroke yamaha. A beautiful boat it was. Have just sold that and will be going back to an unpainted busta. ( with a fourstroke of course). Keep it simple guys !!.

I'm about to buy a Busta 4.2 and put a Yamaha 30 four stroke on it . I'll be using it for fishing rivers and creeks and close inshore reefs on calm days. I used to have a busa years ago with a 30 merc 2 stroke and hated the smell and noise. Does any out there have experience with a Busta and Yamaha 30 four stroke. Just a bit concerned of the extr weight on the back compared with the 2 stroke. Thanks groovers
