  1. Thanks for that Mario. Drags are smooth enough but i find they lose pressure, if you know what i'm trying to describe. Overall i think the FG series feels more solid and practical. My fat fingers can't get use to that drag knob on the ST1000FH. It will only end up on ebay soon
  2. Luck????....Pffffftt Consistancy and luck are two different animals Unless you are consistantly lucky Alltalk
  3. Joe, It's got a crappy little drag knob and a smaller line roller for starters. The drag knob needs a sqwillian turns to increase drag pressure. A sqwillian is an exageration ofcourse but if takes far too many turns for my liking and that's if you can find the drag knob when you need it . The older FG series was better IMO in this regard Thanks Alltalk
  4. Thanks heaps Byron. Sounds like an interesting lure. Hoping to spend a day or two out there very soon.
  5. Shallow fried bonnie cutlets...........YUMM
  6. Hi Bill, Have you had any FG series reels?
  7. Hi, Do you think the current Stradic FH series is an improvement on the old FG series? Interested in your thoughts on this one fellas. Thanks
  8. Hi Byron, Excellent report and good luck in the coming weeks. I have never heard of the Lumo Bloodshot lure. Do you have a pic? Thanks
  9. Top fish Joe I think you'll find it's more like 12 or 13kg tops. Certainly not 15kg.

    Interesting Cat

Ohh nooooo, not more Volvo drivers
  11. SMILE, atleast you actually caught something If that's the worst that life has offered you, then you are doing just fine
  12. Classy looking reel there Max I have yet to see one in Oz but they will arrive soon. Can't wait to get my paws onto one Cheers Tikka
  13. That little lever is for the "clicker". Quite an annoying sound in my opinion. Penn Spinfishers are a great reel but they do get quite a lot of corrosion build up hidden under their rotor. Take your rotor off and you'll see what i mean. It will explain why your clicker is not working.
