Don’t judge. We’re normally catch and release but the young fella wanted to try bass sashimi and in the pan. This one was just legal We decided we didn’t like it very much. Anyway, the catch was great fun. Top water grab in the shallows. Great fun.

We’re stuck out of reach of the harbour care of our LGA so we’ve had to adapt to skinny water. We took off to Eastern Creek (4.8km from home) to throw some grubs and hardies. Good bite window mid morning saw our first one for the season - actually first one ever. Super fun, the dog enjoyed it too.
