Hi all - I am looking to get a nice overhead jigging setup, looking for advice pls. Context: this setup is primarily for targeting Kings out of Sydney e.g. 12 Mile and up the coast budget is ~$1k for rod and reel but happy to save $ or spend a bit more $ (want quality that will last) I have been jigging with heavy spin gear (Daiwa Saltist PE5-6, JigStar Ninja PE4-8) with Saragossa 10k to date Questions: ROD: I have my eye on a Jigstar Twisted Sista. Would you suggest the PE2-5 or PE3-6 version? Both are 5ft REEL: I have my eye on a Shimano Ocea Jigger or a Maxel Transformer What size would you suggest? Slow or High Speed model? What braid? JIGS: Any favourite jigs? Weight? Colours? I have used the Samaki Hummer V2 250g with some success

Hi all - I am moving (from N Beaches Sydney) to the NT for a year. Trying to work out what boat to buy for up there, that I would also be able to use when back in Sydney. I am looking at something like a Stacer Outlaw 469. The thinking is: - small enough for rivers and creeks in the NT chasing Barra - big enough for some Inshore Reef - suitable for casting in the Pittwater, Hawksbury and trolling the Headlands for Kings Am I looking for a unicorn that doesn't exist? Open to thoughts and ideas. Thanks
