What area is this pickles ? Do we get an insight into your secret spot

Thanks everyone for your replies, I live in western Sydney and frequent places like darling harbour, Clifton gardens, la perouse. Honestly distance isn’t an issue, I’ve started catching yakkas to use as live bait and if not getting anywhere I freeze a few with salt to use as bait on my next trip. My brother in law has just come from Sweden and loves fishing also l. He’s used to catching rainbow trout over there so maybe some areas that have this species as he would be familiar with techniques. I hope I’ve answered some of the questions, I’ve purchased a few rods, some with lighter line and others more heavy duty.

Hey guys I’m new to fishraider, I’m a novice ish fisherman, I’ve put in countless hours in the last two years but can’t seem to catch anything bigger than 40cm once in a blue moon. Can someone point me in the right direction of some good land based spots, I’ve tried everything from all types of baits, to different hook sizes and hook types but can’t seem to get anything that puts on a decent fight. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Where is this place ? I want to try fishing for bass soon but don’t know where to start.. need somewhere land based

I’m desperate and boatless !! Haha I wouldn’t say im a novice but definitely not a pro as I haven’t landed a kingy or jewfish yet but almost every other land based species. Let me know if you’re keen bro
