Hi raiders has anyone fished in manly lagoon in queenscliffe its at the northern end of manly beach? I hear in this lagoon there is mangrove jacks,GTs and giant herrings does anybody out there know how these these type of fish wound up in the lagoon?

hello there craig if you'd like to get into more fresh water fishing you can try out the nepean river in between penrith and windsor if its not to far for you, try some hard body lures, surface lures and spinner baits, i hope this helps out a little Regards Rizzo

great looking fish so healthy looking as well, rock hopping bass fishing looks so adventurous.... I'd love to try it one day... i've heard of Bents Basin,but where's Nortons Basin? Is it near Wallacia?

another top water lure that came in mind is the REBEL POP-R translucent clear blue and dash of red underneath with the glittering buck tail on rear treble and ball bearing inside a must 4 any bream and whiting angler....

Hi matey ever tried a top water lure called Jackson T-PIVOT they're dynamite except the rear single barbless hook gets a lot of misses so i changed it with a OWNER STINGER treble #16size they also walk the dog pretty good. REGARDS Rizzo....

Sorry mate didnt know how to upload the photos but i worked it out with the help of ICEMAN I caught the larger bass on a taylor made black fat banger surface lure. The other fish were caught on jackalls, spinner baits and various surface and diving lures.

Over the long weekend i went with some family and friends to Lake St Clair. O man what a trip it was, caught myself a whopper of a bass. weighing in at 2.3kgs 51cms. had a ball of a time getting in the boat. Over the whole long weekend we caught over 25 bass all nice sizes and all were released back into the water. Here are some photos that we took.
