Nah mate go for it i wanna hear peoples opinions thats why i posted it cause i own three of them 2x 1000FD and 1x4000FD jap version i was gunna buy the 2500FD but i gunna now hold back and suggest to buy the current newer 2500model due to what members and Tony stated and also Tony thanx for pointing out about wind knots i do get them sometimes with lighter lures mainly on windy days and also when line is not on spool tight and ive found the1000 FD model that i love dearly matched with my T-curve 2-4lb 7footer nice light combo for casting all day im preferring it more than my 1500 daiwa certate that i also love too... please keep the opinions coming fellars its good to know this for our future buys for our tackle arsenal Cheers Rizzo

No mate i havent yet but i plan to buy one soon my mate musty has one and i've seen them in action quite impressive i must say about the 1300 to 1500 dollar mark but shop around you always seem to find a bargain these days. P.S and also the 3 year warranty makes it more attractive too Cheers Rizzo
