Me and a mate went out yesterday for a quick fish and to try out the new boat 5.1 aquamaster with 90 suzuki four stroke quite impressed with it aswell. Headed into the bay about 1 0clock to windy to stop anchored up at muli point for a flounder threw back headed out to the south side of the heads for a troll out of the wind calm as calm within 1 minute zzzzzzz leaping bonito and then bonito every where on small pink skirts got about 20 in an hour on light tackle then 3 massive whales appeared beside the boat scared the crap out of us they came up that close the water out of there spout sprayed us awsome sight they headed north as we headed south all in all quite a good arvo session kept a few bonnies for bait

i got a 2005 6.8 meter stejcraft monarco towed by a 2005 pajero

[i was using little 20g lasers was getting hookups easy but the small trebles were pulling out easier so just used a 3/0 suicide hook and a whitebait no weight tossed out about 15mtrs from boat and just let it float around plenty of hookups and much easier than chasing the schools all over the place

yeah i was there i cant believe there was not an accident some of those guys need a lesson in boat safety i got that angry with one guy that i had to move because my blood was boiling like the salmon in the water he missed me by about 2 meters going way to fast if they just drifted or stayed in the same spot the schools were coming right up beside the boats but they keep contiually drive in to the middle and spook the fish intead of atleast getting in front of them and letting them come to you

heres another driving 6.8 mtr on to trailer giving it to much throttle and snapping the post that holds the winch clean off then boat post and winch rolling back in to gunnamatta bay it was not funny on the day but writing this gives me the giggles also had a mate on the boat doing about 50 ks and pulling accellerator to neutral so he can come up the front he did at about 50 ks puting his foot in to the berley bucket on the floor his shin skin made extra berley along with all the blood from his shin

any 1 interested in a spot on my boat 6.88 mtr for the back to the bay social maybe two spots need early reply so it can be sorted we can meet at the ramp if required

Hi fishraiders i was just wondering where the best place in botany to get yakkas i try yarra bay but have had no luck any help would be great

went out early this morning went in to yarra bay to get some liveys no luck so thought we would just use pillies went out side seen a huge school in front of maroubra salmon i guess!! they were feeding on tiny baits only about 1 cm in size flicked out a few lures nothing went out about 3 ks caught around 20 flatties from 40 to 50cm and one huge jacket kept a feed threw heaps back no pics as camera left at home the one good thing there was less wind out there than in the bay and sea was flat as ive seen it for a long time

im finally taking the boat out after the winter break cant wait for saturday puting in at botany not sure where we will end up just want to mainly blow out the cobwebs
