Thanks Jo I'll give it a try but I think I'm doing something wrong with loading the pics from the camera to the computer, the files are huge but I cant seem to find anywhere to change the size. Anyway I'll send it to you and see what happens

Well it gives me a litt;e hope if you guys got nothing today as well on sp's got a couple of little bream and one toadie on prawns so not exactly a record haul. my daughter got to pull in her first fish today though so that was a buzz. I'll post a pic when I can work out haow to get the file size small enogh to post (bloody fangle digital cameras)

Well I had a crack with the nippers this morning and not even a nibble, mind you only caught a couple of little bream and a toadie on bait so I guess I'll just keep playing and see what happens when the fish are bighting

Yeah thanks Hooky I went up there last night and he was out but he got some in today so I picked up some tonight when I got my bate. So I'll give em a burl in the morning

I reckon I'll be heading up to see sis We used to swim in that River when we were kids and didn't get eaten so I reckon you're right about them being timid. I haven't been up there since 83 so I reckon a trip must be in order. Did you catch them on bait or lures?

enyaw I'm having my first crack at sp's this weekend also, will be great to hear how you go. I got rellies in redcliff although I haven't been up there in years. How's the fishing up there? Maybe I should make a trip to catch up with them and wet a few lines

Gonna take the daughter (6) for a fish Sat morn somewhere along the georges probably picnic point way. Hoping for her to catch some lttle bream to give her a bit of exitement and I'm going to have a crack at some sp's Not really worried what I catch this weekend just wanna introduce the little one to fishin. Jethro those beers and a tbone has got me droolin all over my desk. I reckon I'm stopping off at the butchers on the way home tonight and having just that for dinner

Ok guy's I wanna try and have a go with those soft plastic grubs but I've never used them before. I think I have the idea of setting them up with the jigheads but what about casting do I put on a sinker for weight and if so do i use a sliding set up? Also should I use scent with em. I gather you cast out then do a slow retrieval any help would be great Thanx guys

Yep sure was wild and wooly out there on Sat Managed 3 whiting around 30cm, lost a flattie about a foot from the boat and probably about 25-30 baby snapper that all had to go back and a couple of little bream. Was on the water about 4.30am but nothing much happened until high around 11.00am or so. Lost an anchor out near the heads and one of the young fellas was a bit green so we spent the rest of the day drifting inside the bay.
