Hi Guys, hubby and the father in law went out for a fish in WB they we're expecting plenty on boats being a Friday night, when they got there not one boat to be found, they caught 10 losing another 5, longest being 1.8 meters, they got all fish just on dark, plenty of burley a must, using live yellowtail and pillys, they left at 8 pm pic not the best using the phone, tight lines all...

Well done on the catch i stayed a week on the boat last week i think it was thursday night in jerusalem bay and their was some pretty big hairtail, been catching them for a few years now and have never seen them this big, well over 6 foot every fish... they only took live yellow and they got smashed everytime they hit the water....tight lines everyone..

Absolutely great fish, one of the best table fish, I've caught many mahi mahi, none no-where near that calibur well done...

Hi big berg just use pillies on ganged hooks with wire traces n plenty of burley..... I think they are delicious to eat mate

If your fishing out of a boat its a good idea to tie a 5litre engine oil container (empty of course) to the end of your anchor rope this is what we do so when we hook up to a good fish we just quickly undo the tie off and throw the drum and anchor rope over, and take of after the fish once we have landed the fish we go back to get our floating rope and tie back up.... Yes no good for the chap involved my hubby was saying he fished garie rocks on the northen end of the beach for years even a bit further up at a rock they called the coffin, they had caught many large tailor and larger salmon of those rocks, but you do have to chose your days, not days when the seas are up can be very dangerous....

Great catch, within the next few weeks going to a spot where we land 10kg+ kings always caught them from a boat taking the kayak this time also when we get there launch the kayak of the boat and hopefully hang on if their there, i took the 12 tinny there last time and they towed us around like nothing while playing the fish cant wait to see how we go of the kayak will be like a jet boat i hope hehehe will be getting film footage , of course.....

mmmmmmm might have to start posting carp catches,,,,, great catch.. i have a private property witch unloads enormous carp on light gear......well done on the catch

ive landed some crazy kings in the bad weather around sydney harbour, just goes to show the kings dont mind the rain hehehehe

Hi all i couldnt get out with the hubby and stepson for monday and tuesday's fishing they had a ball they went to try a spot in pittwater that always produces for them that they hadnt been there for a while, monday started of with drifting with livies and not even 5 minutes and bang they were on the kings had not let them down with a 7 kilo hoodie dragged on board then the next drift losing one they had said to be bigger over the 10kg mark losing at the boat smashing the big landing net we always had to land the smaller kings oh well lost at the boat the fish earned his freedom they tell me they got busted of with the 40pound braid 60 pound leader they were using another 5 times so monday they ended up with 2 good kings and 5 bust off's tuesday they landed another 3 kings biggest going 11 kilo along with flatties garfish and a nice 6 kilo jew plus a blue swimmer and 3 good salmon they are not much into taking pics or measuring fish so here are some i got permission to put on here hehehe the kings are out there all i can say is look for the baitfish they are schooling up.....

Went back out to the botany fad again yesterday landed another 7 dollies same size as the other day no pics this time threw back 4 undersized pulled the hook on 5 others a great day out back in by 10am......
