Theres a good little ramp next to the bridge to no where at Lower Portland,which is about halfway between Sackville And Wisemans Ferry.There is good fishing all the way down river to Spencer .Most commonly caught are Bass,Bream,Flathead and Jewfish.Although now the prawn trawlers have started the jewfish disappear until you get down around Wisemans Ferry.
