    Rod Holders

definetly go ther stainless,my brothers boat has those snap loc holders onboard(from a previous owner),i wont use them,my mate did once, lets just say he went swiming that day spend the extra cash on the satinless holders and keep your currrent rods, lol cheers arman
  5. sorry mate working sat ,and the can only be a half day sunday as i have to put the car back together cheers arman
  6. leeeaaatheeeeerjacket good stuff andy,at least you wore a hat ,my head looked like a extra oversize tomato and when your making new sinkers hey is that A ,. crooked???? cheers arman
  7. i aslo use the rock ,im happy with it,its cheap,my mate uses an expensive japeniese brand ,that i cant rememebr ,but it definetly lasts longer, wears better, but to me not work the extra 300% i think fluro helps me by giving me confidence,i dont want to be wondering that my mono leader is spooking fish and fluro wears much better ,so your less likely to wear through a leader on a fish cheers arman
  8. hi mate ,when i used to camp my tent started to leak ,i went to a camping store and they had a product that you brush on the seams and stiching, that sorted out the leaks its was a little bottle and had a brush attached to the inside of the lid dont know what it was called, but its a cheap option ,give it a go it did leave a whiteish stain where it was brushed but it certainly stopped the drips that aligned perfectly with my forehead cheers arman
  9. good photos pinhead, why didnt you send one of the boys out the back for an action shot in the rain cheers arman
  10. good stuff andy, great results of late for the mad mullet and dude get some sunnies or drops cheers arman
  11. your right people pay plenty to see nature at its best like that ,beautiful, but a little scary i bet warnie, wouldnt be good if it turned ungry over with a hundred kilos of burley to swim with while waiting for help . ,lol thats a great shot of the tail, sort of like a post card cheers arman
  12. i just run a normal mp3 stereo unit in the cabin and velcro the remote to the roof lining so i dont have to go in there to change songs etc etc save your money if you can mount the head unit in the cabin and buy better waterproof speakers cheers arman
  13. dont worry andy ,just go to sleep,it will be ok what there was more snags ........nnnnnnnoooooooooooo dude you where holding out me could of been worse you could of found them next week lol cheers arman
  14. well done andy how good was the cook up ,thats the way its gota be done from now, although we might have to start packing dinner into the eski as well mate now as for the deck wash incident, well what can i say ,it wasnt like you where goin to chase me away was it,you where busy getting stretched and you looked hot so nothing like a freshwater hose down to keep you cool and beer you requested went down well, no time for resting ,lol oh and next time you try and clip on the sea anchor to my outfit on the troll ,there gona be trouble, not that your sea anchor coped that well with 3 separate sharks giving it a touch up,we should put in the burley in it next time can you gues where the fuel filter is yep behind the shark and the boys in blue ,our savours ,top blokes, thanks boys cheers arman

oh and put the braid on tight or it will bite into itself cheers arman

    Braid

you need to tie on a couple of metres of mono backing just 3 or 4 wraps and join the braid to the mono or there is a chance that the braid will spin on the spool,i use the improved albright knot for that job or the double uni is ok too and the albright can be used to attach your leader too cheers arman
  17. and i wasnt going to post a photo of you wearing that pink tutu how good was that bread in the morning was it worth the 44 bucks, mmmmmmmmmm, not sure next time ill go and get the breaki ,lol thats for a top day , (that was meant to be thanks not thats) cheers arman
  18. lovely part of the world down there ,i spend a week every year and cant wait to get back cheers arman
  19. mate if you want to fish the bottom out wide you will need an alvey reef queen or king and a mount to suit your boat ,or electric reels and bent but rods ,if you have the cash to splash, down riggers arent designed for that sort of load but in saying that if you want to change the wire that comes with most downriggers you can ,i run braid on my downrigger, the deepest ive used the downrigger is at the twelve mile 110metres pulling slimies around cheers arman
  20. my unit reads it easy on auto ,if its a bit rough and the boat is tossing about it has trouble when moving ,but in normal seas travleing and stationary its is a very good picture did you have the range set deep enough to pick up the bottom in auto (because you have to set the range scale up so it can chose the most appropriate depth that you have set) and did you have it on the deep frequency let us know how you go there a great unit cheers arman
