Nice job on your boat, sure makes a difference. Did you just mount your electric straight to the front? Drill 4 holes and bolt? does it matter that its on a bit of an angle? Was going to get a plate welded on but it will cost a bit. Cheers Evan,

Just finished mine not 2 long ago aswell

Plenty of livies --Yakas,slimies-- around shoal bay walf, just tie up to one of the boat morings. Also heaps of garfish there aswell, but if you don't want to be anoyed by the gars -- the right head land as your going out the heads-- plenty around that corner but aslo can be choppy -- shoal bays the go nice and calm and heaps there.. if you want anything bigger i caught 3 bonito 30-35cm of that same point on tuesday while fishing for snapper-- with cubes of pillies and next to no wait .

Caught my first bass today at st clair, not the biggest thing but a bass!! awsome place

Jewytim, just recently fishing decking out my boat-- It was a 2 seater tiny -- i put casting deck in front and back-- use 18mm marine ply-- (make sure all cuts are seiled) on my last boat i just used plain 16mm ply and coated it with reson-- but alot easier as people have said to do it right the first time with marine grade! form ply is the next best and will probley do the trick, sheets are around 100 bucks though for a 3m by 1.2, As for any joints or fixing timber to ally use sikaflex marine-- stronge stuff and save scewing etc , also costs though at about 15-20bucks a tube.. but wont need much. hope this has helped
