  14. We set out at 6 in the morning got our yakkas. headed off to a couple of nice of kingie spots... by 9am after an hour at the first spot we had no luck so we moved onto the 2nd still no luck there. so at about 11am we headed off to a flathead spot past the spit and drifted the sand flats... still no luck. we then started to troll a yakka and got a hit!!... it took a chuck out of the fish but not the hook. we kept going and stop at a mooring. after about 20mins we got a run with a big kingie i went to take my rod out of the rod holder and it stoped.... it droped the yakka. i pulled it up to find that only the head was left on it. the kingie missing the hook by mm. a every unsuccessful day only catching an eel and some mud suckers. got any tips to how to find these awesome fish around MH to the north harbour? cheers boys & tight lines
