Nice catch guys. I was at port hacking and caught frigate tuna thinking that they were bonito untill i did some more research and realised they were frigate. they tasted great filleted and pan fried with some moroccon spices Put up a top fight as well on light gear!

Hi Raiders, Been a fan of fishraider for a while and this is my first post. Me and a few mates headed down to the upper reaches of the Shoalhaven river in search for some Bass. This was the first time i had fished freshwater and was keen to get a bass under my belt while we were there. So we jumped in our canoes and kyaks and set off for the day. Within the first half hour or so i got my first ever bass. it was roughly about 20cms. We then found a fallen tree had a few casts on one side....nothing...tried the other side....first cast and i was on! it put up a good fight and i landed it. It measured to 40cms...not bad for my second ever Bass. The rest of the day was good as well, all up i got 5, and my mates went well too (all released). i will be definately going back soon!!!
