  14. Nice catch guys. I was at port hacking and caught frigate tuna thinking that they were bonito untill i did some more research and realised they were frigate. they tasted great filleted and pan fried with some moroccon spices Put up a top fight as well on light gear!

  17. Thanks mate, it was roughly halfway between shoalhaven heads and Tallowa Dam and was probably just where the freshwater starts.
  18. Hi Raiders, Been a fan of fishraider for a while and this is my first post. Me and a few mates headed down to the upper reaches of the Shoalhaven river in search for some Bass. This was the first time i had fished freshwater and was keen to get a bass under my belt while we were there. So we jumped in our canoes and kyaks and set off for the day. Within the first half hour or so i got my first ever bass. it was roughly about 20cms. We then found a fallen tree had a few casts on one side....nothing...tried the other side....first cast and i was on! it put up a good fight and i landed it. It measured to 40cms...not bad for my second ever Bass. The rest of the day was good as well, all up i got 5, and my mates went well too (all released). i will be definately going back soon!!! Its good to target a fish and catch them. First Bass 20cm Second Bass 40cm Caught on a purple vibe bibless lure
